3 Day Slim Down

I mentioned a few posts back that I was planning on doing a 5 day slim down to get bikini ready for 4th of July!  At the time it had slipped my mind that I would be in Seattle for vacation the weekend before, so not the best time for dieting.  Anyway, I’m back now and ready to get on track and going to do 3 days instead of the typical 5 or 7.

I have not purchased the Tone It Up Nutrition Plan, but I have a good idea of what goes into the 5 and 7 day Slimdowns.  Basically no dairy and no starches and lots of water, fruits and vegetables.  Here’s what today looked like!

3 Day Slim Down

Breakfast

1 egg and 2 egg white veggie scramble (kale, red onion, tomato) topped with salsa + strawberries

Snack(s)

Tall Soy Misto w/ 1 pump hazelnut syrup (from Starbucks)

Boiled Egg

4 steamed shrimp

Handful of grapes

Lunch

Wendy’s Frosty Protein Shake (with a handful of spinach added in & chocolate almond milk instead of regular)

Dinner

Frozen stir fry veggies from Trader Joe’s with steamed shrimp.  Added low sodium soy sauce and siracha

Workout

Jillian Michaels Killer Abs DVD Level 1

I will probably have tea (with no sweetener) or something like that this evening.  Today has been relatively easy since I woke up late (still on west coast time I guess).  I knew going in to this slim down that no dairy was going to be the hardest part.  I LOVE CHEESE and drink 1/2 and 1/2 in my coffee every single morning.  I prepared for this by planning to eat mostly seafood for lunches and dinners (makes it easier to not eat cheese) and I bought coconut milk coffee creamer that I had tried before and liked.  I’ll try to do posts like these for the remainder of the slim down and I will let you know if I notice any changes in 3 days!
