I don’t know about you guys but I love a great detox, especially after I’ve been eating too much junk! I wasn’t so keen on detoxes while I was growing up because my family members (especially my parents & grandma) were obsessed with the nastiest ones. They gave my sisters and I everything from Metamucil to the dreaded Magnesium Sulfate, which they always said tasted like Sprite. Ha! Anyways, I realize that there was a method to their madness. Like they always said, our systems do need to get cleaned out. Whether it’s in order to improve digestion or get rid of impurities. So, I guess the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree since I am here with a lovely natural detox concoction just for you all (by way of Pinterest) and it tastes great!
Body Flush and Detox Water
What You Need:
1 or 2 oranges
A bunch of mint
What To Do:
Slice all the ingredients as seen above and divide the ingredients between four 24 oz water bottles and fill them up with filtered water.

Also, ginger tea or plain old lemon water also work wonders for detoxing the system! Those are my go to drinks, especially since I usually have those items handy. I went easy on the cucumber in this latest detox and used more lemon/lime because cucumber isn’t my fave. You can modify the ingredients to your liking. Remember, a key to weight-loss and maintenance is finding ways to make healthy options taste great for you. Some people can’t stand the plain taste of water or just get bored so this recipe really comes in handy and will get you thinking of other flavorful detox water concoctions.
