2013 Beauty Favorites

Hey!  Happy Belated New Year!  I know this post is coming a bit late for 2013 recaps, but since I’m super into experimenting with my makeup these days (hello, YouTube makeup tutorials all day every Sunday. Don’t judge), I thought I’d let you guys in on just a few of my favorite products of this past year.

Beauty Faves

Essie Smokin’ Hot – this polish came from Essie’s fall collection but it still gets a place on my favorites list.  I am a nail polish junkie and usually never put on the same polish back to back.  Not so with Smokin’ Hot, which is office appropriate while still being edgy. Love!

Smashbox Liquid Halo Foundation – I stumbled upon this foundation when I went to Sephora to try their foundation matching system.  It’s sheer to medium coverage, but very buildable.  It’s the perfect color match and gives me the perfect airbrushed look.

L’Oreal Super-blendable Concealer – This is probably the only product on this list that I wear almost every day.  I’ve tried many higher end concealers, but I always come back to this one. Also, the price can’t be beat!  I always buy this at Ulta with their $3.50 off coupons.

MAC Eyebrow Pencil in Spiked – An oldie but a goodie! I have been using this eyebrow pencil for about 2 years.  I recently started alternating with Smashbox’s Brow Bar to Go since it comes with eyebrow gel, but Spiked is still my fave.

LORAC PRO Eyeshadow Palette – Okay, I cannot hype up this palette enough.  Forget about the Naked 1s, 2s, and 3s, this palette is where it’s at.  It comes with 8 matte and 8 shimmery shadows that are highly pigmented and long-wear.  I also love this palette because I think the colors look great on every skin tone.

What were your favorite beauty products of 2013?  Anything you’re coveting in the new year??
