“Healthified” Double Chocolate Chip Cookies!

Hi Friends,

Here is a recipe from way back that I really enjoyed. I came across it on Instagram from one of my favorite IGers, @TameikaG. These clean, flour-less cookies are super easy to make. Speaking of which, I’ll be doing a post regarding my version of eating clean very soon!  These beauties are pretty much a healthy version of Subway’s Double Chocolate Chip Cookies.

What You Need:

  • 1 c almond butter, freshly ground from the bulk section from a health food store; don’t use jarred almond butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 c cocoa powder
  • 1/4 c white chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 2-3 tbsp of Stevia
  • 1 tbsp of honey
  • Also, if the batter seems dry, you can add some almond milk to get the texture you desire

What To Do:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
  • Mix the ingredients and bake for about 12 minutes, then let them cool

Now, eat up! Enjoy :-)
